The Role
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Sales & Online Store Administrator to join our team in Beresfield, NSW. This diverse role is perfect for an individual with a background in technology solutions, who is looking to apply their understanding in a commercial setting. You will be instrumental in supporting our sales operations, managing our online store, and directly contributing to the sales of our entry-level product offerings to both business and consumer clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Administration Support:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the sales team, operations and finance, including assisting with quotes, processing sales orders accurately, and issuing invoices.
Maintain and update customer records and sales activities within the CRM system (HubSpot) and inventory system (CIN7)
Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, technical support, finance) to provide quick response to customer questions, smooth order fulfillment and timely delivery.
Generate sales reports, analyze sales data, and assist in forecasting.
Manage correspondence with customers and suppliers, ensuring timely and professional communication.
B2B and B2C Entry-Level Product Sales:
Proactively engage with prospective and existing customers (both businesses and individual consumers) to promote and sell our range of entry-level technology products.
Respond to product inquiries via phone, email, and online chat, providing accurate information and solutions.
Identify customer needs and effectively recommend suitable product solutions.
Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately for direct sales.
Collaborate with the sales team on strategies to achieve sales targets.
Work closely with the Marketing Coordinator to devise strategies to grow the entry level and online business
Online Store Support & Management:
Provide first-line support for customers using our online store, addressing queries related to products, orders, shipping, returns, and payment issues.
Ensure all product listings, descriptions, images, and pricing on the online store are accurate, up-to-date, and optimized for search.
Process online orders, coordinate shipping, and manage inventory levels for online sales in collaboration with the warehouse team.
Monitor online store performance metrics and identify areas for improvement in user experience and sales conversion.
Assist with content updates and promotions for the online store in conjunction with marketing.
Skills and Experience:
Essential: A foundational understanding or proven experience in either a technology field (e.g., IT, electronics, software, networking) or an industrial field (e.g., industrial machinery, heavy equipment, engineering, parts). This could be demonstrated through relevant work experience, vocational training, or educational qualifications.
Strong administrative and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences (B2B and B2C).
Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and/or ERP systems is highly regarded.
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online sales processes.
Customer-centric mindset with a strong commitment to providing excellent service.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
Working knowledge of CMS platforms (e.g., Shopify)
Familiarity with SEO, SEM, Google Analytics
Strong copywriting and proofreading skills
Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise and multitask
Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and visual storytelling
Comfortable working in a technical or industrial environment
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, Business or a related field
2–3 years of hands-on sales experience
Experience working with global markets such as the USA and South America
